Eligibility
Bridging Fund Eligibility (PKS & Startups):
Company Registration:
Registered with SSM (Malaysian companies) or local authority (Sabah/Sarawak)
Startup Eligibility:
Registered with SSM
Majority Malaysian ownership (>50%)
Minimum paid capital of RM10,000
At least 2 company directors
Technology-based/related business
In operation for less than 5 years
Matching Funds: PKS companies required to co-finance at least 35% of project cost (cash or in-kind)
Market Study: Required for all applicants
Minimum Malaysian Equity: All companies must have at least 60% Malaysian ownership
Technology Implementation:
Collaboration with government or external agencies encouraged (consultancy services)
Proof of capability for independent implementation required otherwise (LOA or equivalent)
Research Personnel: Collaboration with IPTA, etc. allows appointment of RO/GRA (LOA or equivalent required)
Collaborators: Individuals or organizations working with the applicant (named in application, agreement required)
Consultants: Individuals or organizations appointed and paid by applicant to perform specific project activities
Scope of Funding
Design (product & visual communication)
Accreditation/Certification (excluding factory/OEM)
Incubation services (technical advice, consultancy)
Project-related human capital development (GMP, Halal, HACCP training)
Product market validation & modification
Purchase/lease of project-related equipment/facilities (up to 40% of total grant)
