  • Market Linker and Practitioner Experts’ Services.

  • Office Management Overseas.

  • Manufacturing of product prototypes for international buyers.

  • Export Packaging Enhancement and Services.

  • International buyers‘ audit visits to Malaysia.

  • Market Immersion Activites Overseas.

  • Certification & Compliance with International Standards.

  • Participation in e-marketplace / e-commerce.

  • Traning / Courses / Seminars / Conferences Related to Export.

Criteria


  • Possess Malaysian SME Status Certificate issued by SME Corporation Malaysia.

  • At least 60% Bumiputera equity

  • Valid business licenses from local authorities and operating at valid business premises (subject to business activities).

  • Have been in business operations for at least 3 years.

  • Minimum 3-Star SCORE rating and above and reach the latest annual sales of at least RM1 million.

  • Audited Financial Statement for at least 2 years.

  • Submit business income tax statement (with valid evidence) under the Income Tax Act 1967.

BEEP aims to create and develop competitive, resilient and dynamic Bumiputera SMEs through integrated assistance to strengthen SMEs core business, build capacity and capability, increase productivity and facilitate their access to financing. The grant riven is 50% up to RM500,000


Applicable to all sector


Scope’s of grant:

  • Productivity and Automation;

  • Online Applications, e-Commerce, e-Payment and ICT Applications; and

  • Enhancing Packaging;

  • Branding Development and Promotion;

  • Certification and Quality Management System (QMS);

  • Product Development and Innovation; and

  • Listing on the LEAP market.


Fees & ChargesEffective 1st March 2023, processing fees will be charged for new application.

Processing fees for application:


  • RM500 for small & medium SMEs; and

  • RM300 for micro SMEs.

Criteria


  • MSME Status Certification

  • Micro*, small & medium companies only;

  • 60% equity owned by Bumiputera;

  • Operating with valid business premise license;

  • At least 6 months in operations;

  • Have undergone SCORE assessment; and

  • No vested interest supplier(s).


* Refers to high-potential Micro* enterprises as follows:

  1. At least 12 months in operation;

  2. Annual sales turnover exceeds RM250,000 per year; and

  3. Operating in licensed business premise.

  4. institute of higher learnings / research universities

  5. centre of excellence

  6. public private partnership initiative

  7. be a private company:-

  8. SME or non-SME registered with SSM

  9. with at least 60% equity / ownership held by Malaysians

  10. involved in the manufacturing sector

  11. that possesses a valid business license issued by local authority

  12. that has been in operation for more than 6 months


Applicable for:

  1. product development programmes

  2. awareness program

  3. industry intelligence

  4. research & competency development

  5. technology acquisition

  6. accreditation, certification, intellectual property

  7. testing of high value-added & complex product

Project Timeline

Projects are to be completed within 12 months from the date of approval.


Funding Amount


  1. Minimum: RM50,000

  2. Maximum: RM1.5 million

Margin of Grant


Up to 90% of the total cost (as per eligible items).
